Self Check-In
The home has a private entrance and Smart Lock self check-in, making arrival simple and convenient.
Waterfront Access
Guests can enjoy the private riverfront outdoor areas, including the patio and deck. Kayak rentals are located right across the river from the Retreat.
Parking
Since Pelican Pete Retreat is located right on Broadway, there is street parking available–BUT NOT OVERNIGHT!! There is no parking allowed from 2 am to 6 am, due to a recent law change in Pelican Rapids. You do have 2 parking spots available in the Bell Bank parking lot, which is just around the corner from the Retreat, to the south. These are not assigned spots, so you can park in any of them. Please watch the parking instruction video in the House Manual, if you have any questions.
Pets
Pets are welcome at the property, with the exception of cats. Maximum of 2 pets allowed, and there is a $50 fee per pet. Dogs should be supervised at all times, and should be crated if they are left alone for periods of time.
Long-Term Stays
Stays of 28 days or longer are welcome.

No smoking indoors. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home.
Fireplace: Please use the indoor fireplace responsibly and never leave it unattended while in use.
Safety: The home is equipped with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit for added peace of mind.
Downtown setting: The property is located directly in downtown Pelican Rapids, giving you easy access to local shops, dining, parks, and attractions. Some typical sounds from a downtown and waterfront environment may be noticeable during your stay.
