What time is check-in and check-out?
Standard check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. These times exist to give our team adequate time to prepare the property to our standard between guests. Early check-in or late check-out may be available depending on the property and surrounding reservations — reach out in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
How do I get in?
All True North properties use keyless entry. Your specific access codes will be sent to you prior to your arrival date — typically the day before or morning of your stay. You won’t need to meet anyone or pick up a key. Just arrive, enter your code, and walk in.
What’s included in the property?
Every True North property is stocked with the essentials: fresh linens and towels, basic kitchen supplies (cookware, utensils, coffee maker), cleaning products, and toiletries to get you started. Specific amenities vary by property. Our waterfront Ketchikan lodge includes a full fish cleaning station and outdoor grill. The Maple Lake Hideaway comes with kayaks, fishing poles, and lake toys included.
Is parking available?
Yes — all True North properties include parking. The Rail District condos in Dilworth have dedicated parking at the rear of the building. The Ketchikan lodge, Maple Lake Hideaway, Giants Ridge condo, and Fargo property all have on-site parking available. Specific details are confirmed in your booking information.
Are pets allowed?
Some True North properties are pet-friendly — including the Railway Retreat and The Depot in Dilworth’s Rail District. Pet policies, including any associated fees, are clearly noted in each listing. If you’re unsure, just ask before booking and we’ll point you to the right property for your crew.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms vary by property and booking channel. When you book direct through True North, we apply a firm but fair cancellation policy — specific terms are outlined at the time of booking. We recommend travel insurance for any trip where flexibility may be important.
Can I extend my stay last minute?
If the property is available, we’ll always try to make it work. Contact us as early as possible and we’ll check the calendar. Direct bookings make this kind of flexibility much easier to arrange.
